The North Carolina Captive Insurance Association (NCCIA) announced yesterday that a new bill was introduced into the North Carolina House to make mainly technical corrections to North Carolina’s Captive Insurance Act. An identical bill is expected to hit the North Carolina Senate shortly. The technical corrections appear to have the support of both the North Carolina Department of Insurance, as well as the NCCIA.
